My name is Trytodie, I'm the Lord of death.
I haunt the cemetery of Pipotowne because a person will die. My main work? I bring back dead people to life.
They are called "Monsters from hell" or "zombies" by humans. I just think they are the essential complement of life. The black couldn't exist without the white... Death is my working tool. By needing it for work , I have finished by loving it.
How did I find such a strange job?
A long time ago I was a simple craftsman, Jackouille The Freepouille, but the richest one: I had the most beautifull wife in all the kingdom. Elisabeth was her name. One day a knight knocked on the door our small house. He said someone wanted to speak to me. As I went out I recieved a blow on my head. When I woke up, my house was no more just a pile of ash. My neighbors told me that the king had come. He wanted my wife for his own. They said there was a archbishop with the king. My wife answered she'd prefer to die than to leave me. The bishop answered that by refusing the will of the king she was refusing the will of God. He locked her up in the house and put it in fire. Although I survived I was dead inside. I cursed the king, his bishop and this "religion". I made a pact with the dark forces. I gave them my soul and they gave me the power to bring people back to life. I wanted to see my wife again, I wanted the bishop to die. Hell heared me and gave me new "responsabilities".
The first thing I did was to bring back my wife. But she came back weakly... then she disappeared forever. That surprised me: I had asked for the power of eternity and the hell gave me a kind of single temporary resurrection. Since this day I'm resurecting people for 4 or 5 days sometimes a month, just so that they can to achieve what they couldn't do during their "first" life.
My second life got more and more boring. My power has grown year after year but I'd lost the most precious treasure. I think of Elisabeth every single day of my life.
The day I was waiting for came finally. Next week: the bishop will die.
