At the moment, I'm the attorney officially dealing with Mathild's murder affair, but as far as everyday life is concerned, I'm running the hotel California, located as you know in central Pipotown.

I decided to purchase that hotel and reintegrate it to the local tourism infrastructure, two years ago.This happenned because the affairs going on in our quite and friendly town used to be so rare, so casual that It didn't require from me neither a great amount of energy nor the complexity of the juridical theories I've been studying at PipoHarv University.

But now, I have to admit that Mathild's murder is the trickiest affair I've never dealt with or even heard of in Pipotown and its surroundings.

Affair's facts

Scene as witnessed in Camille's Bar:

Ms Beauperius is behind the bar working as a barmaid.

Gaberiel is working as her tempermental waiter.

There are a few customers on this Tuesday night.

Mathilde enters with her super sophisticated bodyguard

Ms Reix. Ms Reix takes up her position with her back to the bar to

survey the area. She leans against the bar wearing dark sunglasses

and drinking rum cokes.

Nico enters and join Mathild.

They sit at the table Mathild sits at almost everyday and ordered two Whiskies on the Rocks.

the bodyguard tasted the two drinks to be sure there's no poisonous substance in it.

No trouble, everything is OK: there's no poison.

Mathild and Nico cheer up and drink.

They are discussing in a somehow whispering way, when Nico starts shouting:"No, I told that I'm not Prince Rupert, I'm Nicholas, Nico for friends. Please trust me, if you don't who will!!!"

The argue continues for some half an hour.Then, Nico, drinks his glass in a sole gulp and leaves.

Mathild finishes her drink. Suddenly, her face turns reddish blue and her eyes become yellowish red and loose their expression.

It is as if some demons came along in the purpose of getting rid of her.

On the table, nothing suspicious, the glasses are not there anymore: the waitertook them and camille has already washed them. In the nearbye, people are not noticing anything til the bodyguard shouts:"Oh my God!!" and runs immediately to the Sheriff's office.

What happened really? that's the question I have to work on.

*Duke Cournil has a son Prince Rupert. Rupert had several daughters who all mysteriously died.

*Nico recently married Sonda who is brutally murdered.Nico is accused of her murder

*Mathild acts like a Samarzain and pays for Nico's defence.Later, she seduces Nico.

*Nico becomes her latest toy and gives her some of the Duke's property

1-Poisonous drink: no because he bodyguard tasted it and nothing happened to him.

2-Magic power: no because the well-reputed village teller says there has been no use of magical power in this affair.
